You've gotta try it

I haven't posted a recipe lately, and I've got to post one...my mouth is watering just thinking about it. On Friday night, I didn't go out. I stayed home and cooked what Rachael Ray (yes, love her or hate her) calls a BLD, that's breakfast, lunch or dinner. I'm a huge breakfast fan, so anything that could possibly resemble breakfast for any meal has my attention. It was a Monte Cristo Fritatta servied with Hash Browns, Pumpernickel Bread with Rosemary Ricotta, and charred Pineapple Spears. Sounds fancy, but I'm telling you, it really did take me 30 minutes. And it's cheap too! Anything that's primarily eggs is going to be cheap. The thing that these cooking shows don't account for is clean up! If someone can invent a more efficient way to clean up, I'll be one happy momma!

I'm realizing that my I need to tighten the reins on my blog theme if people are ever going to stay interested...heck, if I'm going to stay intested. Once thing I know for sure, food will ALWAYS be a part of it. Someone told me at work today that I'm definitately a foodie. It's true. I get more excited about a great dish than a new pair of shoes. So, I'm pretty sure I need to go see the movie, Julie and Julia. Anyone seen it?
