Savannah had her pictures taken over the weekend by one of my old high school friends who recently opened up her own photography business. Her name is Jen Howell and she specializes in Children and Lifestyle. I think it takes a special person to work in child photography, because as we know, kid's moods can be very finicky! Jen was ready for whatever was coming her way! I also think it takes a lot of creativity to work with kids as you want to manipulate these images, while, in Jen's case, still maintaining a photojournalistic style. She was perfect. She completely took the pressure off me, so I didn't have to worry about poses and props. She knew exactly what would work, and was able to stay in the background and just focus on capturing the moments. So, with that being said, check her out! She is offering unbeatable prices and her work is just priceless. You can check out a sample of Savannah's photos on her blog, and you can read more about her and book your own date on her website.

Here are some other photographers that I love!
Eder Photography - The Eder's are my dearest friends in the world. They specialize in weddings and events and have a knack for capturing those special, tiny moments. Tony and Laura's natural style is beautiful. I'm so proud of them!
LMac Studio - Lisa is a wonderful photographer who also specializes in lifestyle and details. Not only is Lisa a great photographer, but she is also an amazing artist!
Kallie Brynn Photography - I knew Kallie for a short time when Tim and I lived in Orlando. If you are feeling indulgent and you live in the Memphis area check out Kallie! However if you are one of my Central Florida pals, check out Kallie - that's where she's located. I just love her use of soft images and natural light (I'm probably not using the correct terms!). She is truly talented and does it all.
