Be a Connector - Giving Props where Props are Due - Jewelry

Sometimes I get asked where I get my jewelry. There is not one answer as I get it from everywhere, but I am most often complimented on my unique, real pieces. I don't like to spend a ton, on jewelry, but I do believe that it's worth it to pay a little more for a real, unusual stone. Every year at Cooper Young Festival, I get some jewelry from Astrid French, owner of Yellow Wood Wares.

Every time I visit her booth there, I always end up finding a few pieces that I can't stop staring at...those are the ones I end up buying. The stones are all real, and not too pricey. You will end up paying $10-25 for a pair of earrings, and about $20-65 for a necklace. Her stuff is just gorgeous, and I always get tons of compliments every time I wear one of her creations. The best way to get or look at her stuff is to go to a crafts fair where she has a booth. Guess what? It's craft fair season! I think she always does the fair in Cordova, and possibly Arts in the Park. I don't think her shows are listed on her website, but you could contact her and find out.

I love great jewelry...especially the handmade variety. I totally miss Eastern Market for that reason!! I enjoyed perusing the site you provided; thanks!
