Dresser Makeover

I've never considered myself crafty or a true "do-it-your-selfer" but I have been wanting to learn how to refinish furniture and be more open to ways to repurpose other people's junk.  Not that I would call my Grandmother's bedroom suite junk, but it just wasn't my style, and it was very old.  I received it after she passed away last year and had plans to give it to my daughter.  I decided that refinishing the furniture would be on this summer's to do list and so far I've finished the bed and the dresser.  Below are before and after pictures of the dresser which is going in Savannah's updated "Shabby Chic" room (pics to come of that when it's done!).  Enjoy!

Dresser before; the shot is actually not that bad.  Probably because the rickety drawers are out.
 On goes the primer.
Viola!  Painted with "Vanilla Custard" paint from Baer, and then finished with Antique Glaze.
