Ok - this is going to get personal, so please read no further if mommy/body talk bothers you. I agree that some people share a little too much on blogs, and this may cross that line, but I don't care...I'm using this public forum because I am desperate!
Desperate for what? To get rid of these stretch marks! Yes, I can now fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans, but at a price. Even after using Coco Butter, and various other pregnancy stretch mark preventative lotions religiously, I still have these lovely pregnancy battle scars. I'm sure they will still fade some, but I'm not seeing them go away anytime soon. So sorry people...I really think some people are just going to get stretch marks no matter what they do. I didn't gain any more weight that a person my size was supposed to, and like I said...I used all those products religiously.
So my question to you is - what type of stretch mark reducing products have you used successfully? PLEASE share - I can use all the help I can get.

I think, unfortunately, this one just comes with time. I'm hating mine - they all came in the last three weeks and didn't bother containing themselves after that. All the lotion in the world can't help it - it just depends on your elasticity. Stretch marks happen under the skin, so you can't prevent it.
That said, I've been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter for Post-pregnancy stretch marks every night. It has Vitamin E, Shea butter, cocoa butter, etc. I got it at Babies R Us. I imagine it's probably about the best. Cocoa butter has always worked well on my skin to heal. But no signs of noticeable improvement yet and its been two months. So yeah...time.
Totally agree with the previous comment...time is the great healer. You are fortunate to have ivory skin...I think stretch marks are LESS apparent on people who are not big sun-worshippers. But that's just me. I used Palmer's a lot with Clara and then just whatever lotion was handy with Ian...and now I'm not doing a whole lot of anything...Bath and Body Works "Body Butter" when I remember. But the results seem to be the same. So just give it time and don't forget to remind yourself of what your body has gone through...surely it deserves to show a little wear and tear. :)
