E - Mealz

If you know me well, you know that I'm all about sharing things that I love. Within, hmm maybe the first three months of getting to know me, you'll probably hear all about Netflix, LOST, Mint.com, my iPhone and the book Time Traveler's Wife. I love sharing things that I love whether it be a simple good book, or a tool that could make your life easier.

Lately I've been super motivated to simplify and prioritize. I want to spend less time stressing, and more time doing the things that I love with the people I love. So I've been looking for ways to maximize my time and money.

Although I absolutely LOVE to cook, I prefer to do it in an atmosphere of calm and limited time constraints. I don't know about you, but this is most definitely NOT the atmosphere in the Conkin household when it's time to prepare the daily dinner! Usually it's a mad rush to get dinner ready before the meltdowns begin. In addition to the time it takes to actually make the meals, planning out the meals and the grocery list can be quite a chore too. Lately I've let the planning part slide and grocery day sneaks up on me way too soon.

Enter E - Mealz!

Emealz is a site that actually plans out your meals and your grocery lists FOR you! Not only that, but it includes the recipes too. I've found that the recipes are super easy. There are several meal plan options. You can pick based on grocery story, or diet. We've chosen the gluten free option. And the best part? It only costs $1.25 a week. I am just factoring that into the cost of my groceries. Oh and the even better part? E-Mealz meal plans balance out to be about $75-85 a week! I think that's pretty good. It's rare that I spend less than $100 a week at the grocery store, so I'm eager to see if I can save a few extra bucks.

And all you coupon-crazy moms out there? There are even some coupon tips and tricks as well as some couponing websites.

love it...I'm doing the same thing with a program specifically for paleo diets. paleoplan.com. Same price of $4.95/month. comes with recipes and shopping lists. What it doesn't have that E-mealz does (that I love) is coordinate the sales of the stores as well as give couponing tips! Happy Shopping!

I LOVE e-mealz! I've been using it for a while now too and keep telling people about it. Shelby and my mom use it too, and we've all had great recipes from it. Sometimes the directions are a little too vague, but I'm always able to make it work!
