Magic Laugh

Just to be totally clear, I know that only Tim and I (and maybe our parents) are the only people that think Savannah is the cutest thing ever. It kind of bugs me when other parents don't realize this. I'm sorry, but you are the only one who is going to tear up over your child's smiles. I hate to be that way, but it's true. However, I will say, that those smiles are the best thing in the world. When talking about "lifelines" I'd say this to all you working moms out there, and I know you probably already do this and are better at it than I am. But cherish those times when it's just you and your little one at home. Don't turn on the TV or your laptop. Maybe ignore your cell phone when it rings when you get home. Lately I've been taking Savannah out on the back porch and talking to her (I sound like a total idiot when I talk to her, I ADMIT IT but I'll do anything to make her smile or laugh), just seeing what I can make her do. Just the other day she belly laughed harder than I had ever heard her laugh, and it just melted my heart, seriously, I think some of it is still dripping out on the deck. So my house full of clutter...that can wait. I am tired all the time, but that's not going to get in the way of laughing on the deck with my daughter.
