Meanwhile, I guess it's a good thing we had put the house on the market, because we could definitely use the room now! Ever since Savannah's first birthday, we've felt like there's no where to put all of her things. Good news: we got a contract on the house! The home inspection was today, and it looks like there is only one major repair and a few minor ones, so prayers that that goes smoothly. We are set to close at the end of June. We also put an offer on another home, however it's a short sale so it could drag on for awhile. We are praying that everything works out on this house for many reasons; being a new home, it will be relatively maintenance-free. Also, since it's a short sale, the savings will be huge. With baby coming earlier than expected, this has thrown our budget and financial plans for a loop, so this is a great opportunity for us financially. So prayers are appreciated as we try and work all of this out and stay sane!
And Baby Makes....4????
Saturday, March 27, 2010
That's right. Several weeks ago, Tim and I (to our surprise I might add!) found out that we are going to have another baby. Savannah's new brother or sister is due to arrive November 17th, 2010. It's so funny how you can plan and plan, but life always seems to work out the way it wants. We had always talked about having at least two, but probably three kids. The earliest we had talked about having another munchkin was around the time Savannah turned two. I guess God had other plans, and apparently this baby is determined to come into our lives now! Although I will admit, I freaked out a little bit at first, and the planner in me felt like I had the rug jerked out from under me, we are thrilled.
