My Big Camera in my Big Backyard

There is one thing I wish I had when Savannah was born and that is an SLR camera. Not only is do you need one of these if you really want to get into digital photography as a hobby, but these are the best cameras for capturing those quick, tiny smiles when they are tiny. I finally got one for Christmas this past year (thanks Mom and Dad!) and have really been enjoying the process of learning how to take great pictures. I've also been learning to tinker with various editing software which has ins and out of its own! Here are a couple of my favorite shots from our venture out to My Big Backyard this past weekend.
