A Wedding in Chicago

So this past weekend was quite an event! My brother-in-law, Jeremy, got married. Weddings are fun, sentimental, hectic, and exhausting! We made our first drive up to Chicago this past Thursday to join in on all the events. For reasons I wont get into, Tim and I had to drive up separately. Then, we journeyed back on Sunday. Luckily we had labor day to unpack and recoup. I am very pregnant at the moment, and had a little scare. I was able to keep the drama relatively low and luckily, everything was just fine. I will say to all you pregnant women out there who plan on traveling during your pregnancy, hydration is NO JOKE! I'm just glad baby C is ok and that I didn't ruin the wedding. I will be traveling the first week and second week in October(the first week for work, the second week for leisure) and will be practically term, so I will definitely need some prayers.

Back to the wedding.

Congrats to Jeremy Conkin and his absolutely lovely bride Kelly. The whole event made me want to get married all over again. We had a lovely time in Chicago participating in wedding festivities and getting to know Kelly's family.

On a side note, they had a minor catastrophe; the photographer got lost on the way to the park on the way to take pictures between the ceremony and the rehearsal. I got a fancy SLR camera for Christmas and have been experimenting with it and also with various editing software. I keep this to myself, but somehow I guess I looked like a good stand in because when the wedding party was beginning to get restless, the MOB suggested, "Heather, why don't YOU take pictures??" Of course I couldn't say no. I just hope they are decent consolation. I'll leave you with a few of my shots.
