First Haircut

Last weekend Savannah got her first haircut! Although she was a bald baby for a long time, and still barely has any hair, what she does have was starting to turn into a makeshift mullet! Although I do have an appreciate for a nice, healthy mullet, not on my daughter! Also, often time when she wakes us, she wakes up with this cotton candy hair and it's so hard to get it to do anything. I was hoping the haircut would also help the wild cotton candy situation too by getting rid of some of the split ends.

I was a little on edge when I took her because I was getting my haircut too so making sure she didn't reek havoc in the salon was going to be a challenge. Plus, I had heard horror stories about toddlers throwing tantrums when the stylist got near their hair.

Not my girl! (I'll take a little credit for being very proactive and strategic when it comes to toddler tantrum training, but some of it was probably SHEER LUCK!)

She did great. Since I got mine cut first, she wanted to be like mom which was what I was hoping for. She sat in that chair and got her haircut like it was no big thang.

You can't really tell a huge difference, but we are now sans mullet, and the cotton candy crazy hair is a little tamer.

Savannah, you are growing up too fast!
