I have always considered myself to have relatively good eating habits, so I didn't think this would be all that big of a change for me. BUT when I stopped to analyze what I had eaten in a day, I realized I couldn't eat 75% of it in the Whole3o challenge! Can you believe that? It was mainly due to dairy, grain, and pre-packaged things. That's all the good stuff right? How was I going to make it?
Well, we are now on day 2 and so far so good. I was afraid of not being able to come up with enough calories that my body needed. I was also concerned about dealing with a lot of hunger. It can be done, but it takes research and plenty of prep time. Isn't it a shame that it takes so much effort to be healthy? It's thoughtless to be unhealthy.
I can't really make a judgement on the program quite yet, but Tim says he feels like he's been operating at 80% for so long and never known it; he says he's never felt better. I don't know that I will go that far YET, but I will say that I haven't slept as well as I did last night in a REALLY long time. And surprisingly, I didn't deal with any outrageous cravings or get really hungry. I feel pretty great. We shall see.

Yay! I'm excited for you guys! And so true what you said about eating unhealthy being thoughtless. I def takes time and energy to eat this way. I started back eating strictly Paleo again today, since completing my Whole30 and integrating "cheat foods" back in, I feel so much worse! Tired, bloated and a little blue just to name a few. Good luck and I'm looking forward to hearing how it goes!
I'm looking forward to hearing how the rest of it goes! I'm planning to kick-start a healthy eating plan again when I get home from Germany, after weeks of beer and too good food, so you'll be my inspiration!
