On a side note, I'm toying with couponing again....who knows? Maybe I can justify the cost even further if I'm able to rake in some mega savings!
Priorities

About a year ago, I did a post to convince working moms to pay to have someone CLEAN THE HOUSE. Why do we suck at following our own advice? I was having this done for a while, but after several months, my sweet aunt (who was cleaning our house at the time) broke her elbow (ouch!). Needless to say, she was out. I wasn't really pro active about finding someone else and eventually got stingy with the money I was saving. Then Caleb came along, daycare doubled, and then I really didn't feel like I could justify the cost. However, as of late I've been a little overwhelmed. I don't want to be mediocre at anything, so I started re-evaluating my priorities. Yes, having a house keeper costs some money, I started at our budget for a long time, moved some numbers around and figured out how to make it work. It's worth it if I can be 100% focused on my family on the weekends. The last thing I want to think about then is crummies on the floor in the kitchen, a grimy bathroom sink, or trash that is piling up. Maids of Honor to the rescue! We tried them out on Thursday for a deep clean and I arrived home to a home that smelled of bleach and lemons, awesome! Sometimes I don't know how much stress something was causing me until I feel the relief! And now we'll be coming home to a clean house every other week on FRIDAYS!

We have used Maids of Honor several times over the past couple of years. Love them!
Go Heather! I am a huge advocate of working moms using a housekeeping service!
